Workshop on Wheels
Gather a few friends together, indulge yourself in a day of art making! You host the location, invite some creative people over, and I’ll bring the rest – email for rates and availability, as well as a detailed list of all supplies and materials that will be provided.
Topics:
~ nearly all printmaking processes, including: monotype, screenprint, drypoint, Woodcut, linoleum cut, solarplate, and more.
~ Encaustic wax applications
~ mixed media and collage exploration
Studio Assistant
Need a second set of hands to help you make some of your art? Need to be more productive on studio days than just one person can accomplish alone? Call on me help you get a project done, resolve a tricky situation, print assistant, overall awesome helper and thinker. Plus I love to help a fellow artist out!
Studio Consultation – cleaning and organizing
Is your studio in great need a revamp? Do you have things piled up, projects put on hold, supplies and materials that have gotten lost or buried in the studio mess? I can help! One of my favorite things to do is take a mess and clean it up: rearrange a room, organize materials, de-pile, make labels, find a place for everything, and put everything in it’s place. This can be a daunting task for one person, and motivation can slip away as easily as distractions come up. I’ll keep the project on track, help you make tough decisions, and before you know it, your studio is ready for you to make some new work!
Feedback and idea generation
Sometimes ideas make it to a list but never come to fruition, or other times it’s just plain hard to think creatively and come up with any good ideas. Let me help you brainstorm, research, formulate ideas, etc. I am a great listener and an excellent sounding board for hashing out ideas, I love to help people expand their perspective.
Artwork Documentation
Need images taken of your artwork? I have a high quality Nikon digital camera, I can shoot your work on location at your studio, or take it and photograph it under more controlled and professional lighting. Or I can take some images of you working in your studio.
Are you in need of a nice portrait of you?
Do you also need existing digital files cleaned, corrected, and properly formatted for archives and show applications? Give me your mundane computer work too!
Photoshop tutoring
Basic photoshop tutoring – including but not limited to: file management, color correction, dust (& otherwise unwanted) removal, image editing, cropping, selections, file sizing and formats, layers, text, cool special effects, and more!
Drawing tutoring
Do you need to get back in touch with drawing basics? We can work together on use of varied line, value range, composition, form, texture, perspective, creative use of media, drawing from photographs or real life, working abstractly, ink wash… just to name a few ideas.
Do you have other ideas or creative needs? Just ask!!! I’m flexible and am willing to work on your terms as well. Give yourself the gift – after all, you deserve it…

wow, have been so busy since may, finally have a little time to catch up on everything!
